Join us for a full day of double reed fun including engaging workshops, masterclasses by guest artists, faculty performances, and a double "reeding" ensemble for all to participate in. Middle school through adult amateurs welcome. Bring your instrument, reeds, and come learn with us!
Encouraging and inspiring workshops will be led by expert UWEC double reed faculty Dr. Trent Jacobs (bassoon) and Dr. Christa Garvey (oboe). We're also excited to announce guest artists Lindabeth Binkley and Henry Skolnick , who will be performing and leading the masterclasses.
Midwest Musical Imports and Miller Marketing will have products and instruments to try.

11:30-12:30 – Workshop 2: Bassoon Repertoire/ English horn for oboists
12:30-1:30 – Lunch (provided), vendors, campus tours by UWEC students
1:30-3:30 – Masterclasses led by guest artists
3:30-4:30 – Workshop 3: Double Reed Ensemble "Reeding" Session
4:30-5:30 – Recital featuring faculty and guests
